What's in an education? According to West Virginia it isn't to be the best but who follows along the party line dogma. To take funding from the many, (public schools), to give to the few, (Charter and Home Schools), is to take what life support our system has to educate our young and give it to special interest groups who aren't interested in education, but the windfall that legislation like this will bring them at the expense of the only natural resource we have, our children.

Iceberg dead ahead! Ramming speed! If only we could figure out some way to make all the aggrieved white folks happy, maybe they wouldn't be so homicidal! See! It's our fault when four young white males decide to murder a whole town. It's OUR fault when privileged white boys for whom misogyny was mother's milk attack a Native American veteran of the Marine Corps; OUR fault when they do blackface for basketball games; OUR fault they had to go to D.C. to try to take away the constitutional rights of American citizens; OUR fault the President of the United States shambles out of policy meetings to watch TV.

The Yale Report of 1828 was addressed in today's Podcast with regard to what a "classic education" consists of and how important being well rounded is to today's society. We will continue on that path in our next Podcast on Monday of next week. (1-28-2019) We also covered issues regarding the Teacher's Strike and Unions, our teachers are the building blocks of the future and need not only the Unions support, but everyone's as well.
