At the end of what feels like the longest week in a parade of long weeks, the Extraordinary Ordinary Panel gathers around the roundtable for the usual broad-ranging discussion of whatever's on our minds. There were a LOT of things on our minds. Also: Meagan McCain is still an idiot. Also, also: thanks to everyone who gives us a week of fund-raising-free radio!

A thorny filibobster. Nitwit Nero gets mocked by a mole at the Toilet Paper-USA conference. Hilarity ensues. GymShorts Jordan and Chippy Roy have a no good, rotten, very bad day in Congress. Meghan McCain gets a personal Civics lesson from Rep. Adam Schiff. I get repeatedly interrupted in the studio and have to cut the program short at 2.5 hours. 

The little ol' blue haired ladies spent all their time watching the Mueller Hearings today, so there weren't nary Fellership Dinner. So I decided we should talk about it out on the Front Porch and a rousing conversation ensued!

An almost 2.5 hour filibobster! From Nitwit Nero having "an Article 2" to patriots (the real kind) in Nashville to the urban/rural divide to a homicidal Chief Justice, and Titanic Intellects in between, it was a real barn-burner.

We begin with a powerful meditation from Lady B, and move toward a contemplation of the hatefulness that the MAGATS and the MAGAT-in-Chief have unleashed on our nation. "Send Her Back" was no spontaneous ejaculation of racism by the MAGATS in North Carolina. It was scripted and it was a vision of our Nuremberg future. 

"Donor fatigue." It's real, and it affects our efforts to keep a small, independent broadcast operation going. We're behind by $755 in fundraising for what is already a shoestring operation.
