It’s many days later, and now it looks like President Biden may well step aside. I don’t think this will alienate *all* of his primary voters. The Democratic Party had already interfered (for the third time since 2016) in the primary process. The insiders probably knew (or predicted) that Biden couldn’t hold his own in a debate versus Dean F’ing Phillips. It’s not ideal, I know. But Biden should have vacated long ago and endorsed Harris.

Also, CNN had a straight on camera for the lying trump and a side on camera view of Biden. They know this is bad for optics! CNN’ owner is a trumpeter because he wants regulations removed from media so he can try to make more money! CNN has gone almost as right wing was faux, and I’m sick of it!

Trump didn’t even answer one question on this debate. He just stood there and lied, so how would anyone ever be able to address all the lies and answer the question in that short time. That’s why Biden looked confused - he was probably waiting for the 2 mods to not allow the blatent lying! What was Biden supposed to do other than be in total shock?

The ones who win debates are not the ones who win elections in all instances. Look at Hillary, she won all of them and still lost. I just can’t understand why Dems always overreact over the stupid media’s take and start handwringing over nothing.

Plus, we have the 25th amendment, which our side will use responsibly if needed. He also has a lot of great people around him. Plus, if they ha e a convention fight, it will weaken the entire party, tick off a bunch of people who already voted for him in the primary, and cause chaos.

Hutch, nice to finally talk to another listener! I will vote for the party too, but I believe in sticking with the who brung me. President Biden has brought us this far and proven he can beat trump like a drum. The media has always done this to Dems because they are all owned by Republicans. Even MSNBC. I’m sick if it myself and they need to quit. Our wonderful President doesn’t deserve this.

To be clear-so will I. I’ll vote for Biden just like as I would for any Democrat who might jump into the race. It’s going to be an interesting convention to be sure!

I love this show and am a proud monthly sponsor. It’s been a little difficult to listen to Roxanne shaming Democrats who aren’t ”all in” for Biden. I can’t be the only one in the listening audience, but it sure feels like it. Strongest disagreement I’ve had in about 10 years of listening to the podcast.

I’m really sorry, it is sad, but I will vote for President Biden even if he is dead because he will STILL be better than trump!

I like ones I listen to but get behind a lot and end up skipping a few.
